Jakarta Government Increases Quota for Free Homecoming Travel This Year

Jakarta Provincial Government ensures free homecoming travel will be held again this year.

Suharini Eliawati, Assistant for Economics and Finance for the Jakarta Provincial Secretary, said that the quota for free homecoming travel this year will increase compared to last year. This increased capacity is due to support from various third parties willing to collaborate.

"So this year, the Jakarta Provincial Government is still offering free homecoming travel. In fact, thanks to the willingness of several collaborators, the number of people who will be facilitated will increase," Tuesday (2/10).

According to her, the Jakarta Provincial Government is currently finalizing the registration process to make it more transparent and accountable to prevent duplicate data or quota misuse. Eli also stated that this program is prioritized for residents with Jakarta ID cards.

Eli also asked the public to be patient and continue monitoring the Jakarta Provincial Government's official information channels for information on the free homecoming program. She confirmed that an announcement regarding the schedule and registration procedures would be made public soon.

"We will inform you again well before the free homecoming program starts," she promised.
